Abstract
The present invention discloses a wound therapy system comprising a wound cover (101) applied on a wound area, connected to a canister (102) via a tube (103), a pump (104) for creating a pressure difference between the wound cover (101) and the canister (102) to vacuum air within the wound cover (101) into the canister (102), a pressure sensor (105) for measuring the pressure difference and a microcontroller (106) in communication with the pump (104) and the pressure sensor (105), in which the microcontroller (106) is configured to generate control signals to control pump operation, wherein the control signals are generated via fuzzy logic techniques. (Fig. 1)
