Abstract

A ceiling fan (1) includes a motor unit (4) fixed to a shaft portion (3) on a side opposite to a pipe portion (2) in an axial direction of the pipe portion (2). The ceiling fan (1) further includes : rotor blades (5) each rotationally driven by one end side thereof being screw-fastened to a fastening portion provided at an outer peripheral edge portion of a surface of the motor unit (4) on a side of the ceiling in the axial direction of the pipe portion (2); and a cover portion (7) fixed to the pipe portion (2) on a ceiling side of the motor unit (4) in the axial direction of the pipe portion (2) by the pipe portion (2) inse1ied therethrough. The cover portion (7) includes a pipe-portion insertion hole (15a) in an elongated hole shape through which the pipe portion (2) is inserted in an upper end face portion (7a) thereof , is fixed to the pipe portion (2) by a screw from a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the pipe portion (2), and covers the fastening portion.
