Abstract

A display box is provided which can prevent a plurality of such display boxes from being displaced from each other when they are stacked one on top of another, even if their sides and tops are wide open, and which reduces the workload during packaging and the display preparation. The display box includes a peripheral wall and a bottom wall. The peripheral wall is constituted by first side panels (1) opposed to each other; and second side panels (2) integrally connected to the respective first side panels (1). The bottom wall is integrally connected to the bottom ends of the first side panels (1). The display box is configured such that, when a product in the display box is to be displayed, side windows (12) can be each formed in the portion of the first side panel (1) other than its two side portions and lower portion, and the top of the display box can be opened to define a top opening continuous with the side windows (12) so that the product can be seen through the side windows (12) and the top opening. The bottom wall has a pair of first cut lines (15) each extending from the boundary between the first side panel (1) and the bottom wall, the first cut lines (15) defining, respectively, wide severed-and-bent pieces (16) each having side edges located outwardly of the respective side edges of the upper portion of the side window (12). The display box is configured such that, when the product in the display box is to be displayed, the severed-and bent pieces (16) can be pulled and bent downwardly from the bottom wall while severed along the respective first cut lines (15) of the bottom wall so as to be opposed to each other, and such that, with the display box stacked on top of another display box, the severed-and bent pieces (16) sandwich the another display box so as to prevent the display box from being displaced from the another display box.
