Abstract

There is disclosed a method of a detecting an antibody directed against a Toxoplasma infection, in particular Toxoplasma gondii; the method comprising: providing a biological sample on a surface; contacting said sample with a detector reagent in a manner to allow the reagent to move from one end to another end on said surface; wherein the detector reagent includes a combination of two recombinant proteins that detect at least one type of antibody against at least one type of Toxoplasma gondii polypeptide. In one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a lateral flow device adapted for detecting a Toxoplasma infection comprising the use of two new recombinants, GRA7 and TgRA15. (FIG.1)
