Abstract
A sound effect playback method and apparatus are described. The method includes: obtaining (101) location information of a current implementation environment, and determining (101), according to the location information of the current implementation environment, each material for forming the current implementation environment and a proportion occupied by each material; obtaining (102) an initial sound effect value corresponding to each material for forming the current implementation environment, and adjusting (102) the initial sound effect value corresponding to each material according to the proportion occupied by each material, to obtain an adjusted sound effect value of each material; and combining (103) adjusted sound effect values of all materials, and playing a combined sound effect.
