Abstract
An intake manifold (9) includes an obliquely rising part (17), an upper horizontal part (18), and a downward terminal (19). The terminal of the intake manifold forms a curved part (20). The upper side of the obliquely rising part is provided with an EGR gas inlet (22). An EGR gas distribution path (25) penetrates between the adjacent branch pipes (11 to 14) and is branched toward the branch pipes. An EGR gas outlet (24) is open at an inner surface (20b) of the curved part. The EGR gas distribution path can be housed within the thickness of the intake manifold. Thus, the intake manifold can be reduced in size as a whole. (Fig. 5)
