Abstract
The present invention relates to high strength and low density construction aggregate material. The material is a light weight aggregate made from the mixture of palm oil fuel ash (POFA), lime-treated sewage sludge (SS) and sodium silicate as binder. The lightweight aggregate concrete made with LWA (Posslite) has a density of 2000 kg/m3, a slump higher than 160 mm and mechanical properties similar to normal weight concrete. FIG. 1
