Abstract

The present invention relates to a catalyst suitable for producing ultrafine grain size polyolefin and a preparation method therefor and applications thereof. The catalyst includes an inorganic carrier, as a first carrier, obtained after treatment with a surfactant, active magnesium chloride, as a second carrier, formed in situ on the first carrier through a magnesium-containing reagent, and a catalyst active component loaded on the second carrier, wherein the catalyst active component is a Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Compared with the prior art, the catalyst of the present invention can be used for preparing polyethylene products with high bulk density, uniform particles and average grain size of less than 200 microns and can be used for preparation and applications of medium-high density polyolefin.
