Abstract

Disclosed is a vehicle chassis inspection method and system. The method includes: acquiring a chassis image of an inspected vehicle (S21); acquiring a chassis image template of a vehicle model the same as that of the inspected vehicle from a database (S22); performing registration on the chassis image of the inspected vehicle and the chassis image template (S23); determining a difference between the registered chassis image and the registered chassis image template (S24), so as to obtain a change region of the chassis image of the vehicle relative to the chassis image template; and presenting the change region (S25). By automatically detecting hidden entrainments from a chassis image by means of image processing and mode recognition, this method is of high utility in the security inspection field. (Figure 2)
