Abstract
The present invention relates to welding members (1, 2) for the reproduction of a railroad train wheel and a method for reproducing a railroad train wheel using the same. Particularly, the present invention provides a method for reproducing a railroad train wheel comprising the steps of surfacing the worn down railroad train wheel by welding with the welding member (1) (step 1); and forming a surface hardening layer thereon by welding the railroad train wheel surfaced in step 1 with the welding member (2) (step 2); wherein the welding member (1) is composed of carbon 0.05 ~ 0.15 weight%, silicone 0.2 ~ 1.0 weight%, manganese 1.0 ~ 2.0 weight%, chromium 0.6 ~ 1.2 weight%, unavoidable impurities, and the remnant iron; the welding member (2) is composed of carbon 0.1 ~ 0.25 weight%, silicone 0.2 ~ 1.0 weight%, manganese 1.0 ~ 2.0 weight%, chromium 1.4 ~ 2.0 weight%, molybdenum 0.2 ~ 1.0 weight%, unavoidable impurities, and the remnant iron; and the railroad train wheel is the wheel of a vehicle selected from the group consisting of freight car, passenger car, urban railroad vehicle, and subway vehicle.
