Abstract

In a vehicle body rear structure, a spare tire (100) stored under the floor is made relatively invisible from the rear of the vehicle body, and the external appearance of the rear part of the vehicle body is thereby improved. A carrier support member (43) is attached to a gusset (40) provided ahead of a rear cross member (18), and a hook securing seat member (46) is attached to part of the vehicle body ahead of a rear end cross member (20).
