Abstract

A power generation plant (1) including a feed water heating boiler that can be started at a low cost is provided. The power generation plant (1) includes a biomass boiler feed water pipe (80) which is connected so as to be capable of supplying a biomass boiler (7) with at least a part of feed water to be fed to a boiler (3) via a deaerator (53), a boiler starting feed water pump (70) connected to the biomass boiler feed water pipe (80), and a biomass boiler starting control valve (80a) provided in the biomass boiler feed water pipe (80). When the biomass boiler (7) is started, a control section (30) starts the boiler starting feed water pump (70), opens the biomass boiler starting control valve (80a), and closes the biomass boiler starting control valve (80a) when the starting of the biomass boiler (7) is completed.
