Abstract
A plant and a method for the separation of carboxylic acid components include a distillation device in which the carboxylic acid components can be decomposed into a lower-boiling component, into a higher-boiling component and into an even higher- boiling component. A crystallization device (11) for the separation of the higher-boiling component into saturated and unsaturated carboxylic acid components is connected downstream of the distillation device. (Figure 1)
