Abstract
A system and method that allow buyers to connect with sellers on an e- commerce platform is described. The method includes recommending to a seller who is travelling to an away location, products available at that away location that are in demand, and are more expensive, at a home location. A database of users, who may be either buyers or sellers, or both, is maintained, from which database the location of each user is monitored. A user travelling at an away location triggers a query to users at a home location for products available at the away location at a lesser price, and tells the user who is travelling how many of those products are wanted at the home location. This allows the travelling user, now the seller, to buy the specific amount of the product that is wanted by the users at the home location, now the buyers.
