Abstract

[Problem to be solved] An object of the present invention is to provide a formulation technique that can suppress yellowing that occurs with time or under high temperature conditions to provide excellent storage stability, while incorporating diclofenac and/ or a salt thereof and a tocopherol and/or a derivative thereof into a pharmaceutical composition for external use containing water. [Solution] When lactic acid and/or a salt thereof is blended into a pharmaceutical composition for external use containing diclofenac and/or a salt thereof, a tocopherol and/or a derivative thereof, and water, yellowing that occurs with time or under high temperature conditions can be suppressed, and excellent storage stability can be provided in the pharmaceutical composition for external use.
