Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and provides a method for preparing a catalyst precursor for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, comprising the steps of: a) preparing a solution of a first transition metal compound and glyoxylic acid; b) impregnating a carrier with the solution; c) drying the carrier impregnated with the solution; and d) calcining the dried carrier.
