Solution An extendible working machine (1) including a rotation and drive section (2), a working section (3), an extendible rod section (4) connecting the rotation and drive section (2) and the working section (3), and transmitting a rotational force to the working section (3), and a slide holder (34), the rod section (4) including an extendible tube body (7), the tube body (7) including an outer tube (9) and an inner tube (10) movable in the outer tube (9), the slide holder (34) including a large-diameter portion (35) fixed to the outer tube (9) and a small-diameter portion (36) with the inner tube (10) inserted, the small-diameter portion (36) on a surface having a first set and a second set each of which has a first protrusion (39) and a second protrusion (41) facing each other via a first slit (37), the first set and the second set being set via a second slit (38), the first protrusion (39) and the second protrusion (41) being screw-engaged by a bolt (43) inserted into the first protrusion (39), the bolt (43) on an end having a knob (44), the bolt (43) being tightened by use of the knob (44) to reduce a diameter of the small-diameter portion (36), thereby fixing the inner tube (10), the bolt (43) being loosened by use of the knob (44) to increase the diameter of the small-diameter portion (36), thereby releasing the fixed inner tube (10).
