The present invention relates to a low cost of photostable wood plastic composites (WPCs) comprising essentially of rice husk, virgin polyvinyl chloride (VPVC) and additives which are plasticizer, calcium zinc stabilizer, polyethylene wax and titanium dioxide (TiO2). Further, the present invention relates to a method of making said photostable wood plastic composites (WPCs) wherein the stages for the production of said wood plastic composites (WPCs) are comprises of raw material preparation, compounding, profile extrusion, cooling and cutting process. The mechanical properties based on tensile, dynamic mechanical analysis and the behavior of said wood plastic composites (WPCs) under UV light is also disclosed.
