Abstract

A lighting system is provided with a lighting device (2) configured to include a light emitting unit formed of a plurality of light source portions which are provided to respectively illuminate a plurality of illumination partitions included in a predetermined illumination region on a road surface and for which respective illumination conditions are capable of being separately adjusted, and an illumination condition setting unit (402) configured to set the illumination conditions for the light source portions on the basis of state information indicating a state of the road surface or a state of a vehicle traveling on the road surface, acquired so as to correspond to the illumination partition.
