Abstract

A device (100) with color changing effect comprises an outer structure (110) having an opening on one end; a light generating means (120) attached to another end of the outer structure (110) having at least one light source (121), a sensor (122) and a mounting means (123); and an inner structure (130) inserted into the opening of the outer structure (110) having a fuelling means (131), a wick sustainer (135) holding a wick (132) and a fibre optic tube (133) for detecting a signal from the wick (132) during a burning cycle, wherein the inner structure (130) has locking means cooperating with the outer structure (110) and the fibre optic tube (133) of the inner structure (130) fits into the mounting means (123) of the light generating means (120) such that after completion of the burning cycle the inner structure (130) is removable and replaced by a new inner structure (130) in which the sensor (122) triggers the light source (121) upon receiving the signal from the fibre optic tube (133) to generate at least one color changing effect on body of the outer structure (110).
