Abstract

A water electrolysis apparatus includes a seat (I) with a control device, a water tank (3) installed on the seat (I) for containing water, and an electrolysis device (4) installed at an inner bottom of the water tank (3) and electrically connected to the control device. The electrolysis device (4) includes an anode and a cathode (41, 42) installed at a same horizontal height, and each electrode (41, 42) has branches (411, 421) and a gap (G) between two adjacent branches (411, 421). The branches (411,421) are extended into the gap (G) between the branches of the other electrode, and both electrodes (41, 42) are separated from each other, and the gap (G) between defines an electrolysis space gap (G) between the non-contacted portions for electrolyzing water. An impact force produced by the pouring water keeps the two electrodes (41, 42) from touching each other to prevent short circuit.
