Abstract

A chemical agent mainly composed of a polymer flocculant (A) is added, as a chemical solution, to a water-containing bulk material (2) on a belt conveyer or in a hopper of a bridge crane or an unloader ( 5) to form a floe of the water-containing bulk material (2) and a free water suspension (3), and the floe is conveyed on the belt conveyer. This resolves defective unloading on the belt conveyer caused by slurry free water which inevitably occurs when unloading the water-containing bulk material. Figure 2
