Abstract
Provided is a seawater desulfurization and oxidation treatment apparatus equipped with an oxidation/aeration basin (16) that performs water quality recovery treatment using diluted seawater (14) and air on acid desulfurization seawater (13) containing sulfurous acid (H2SO3) which is generated when seawater desulfurization is performed on, for example, sulfur oxide in boiler flue gas. The seawater desulfurization and oxidation treatment apparatus includes a main flow passage which includes an upstream dam (21A) formed on an entrance side in a longitudinal direction of the oxidation/aeration basin (16), and into which the diluted seawater (14) is introduced, an upstream mixing unit (22A) which is formed on an upstream side of the upstream dam (21A), and mixes the acid desulfurization seawater (13) with the diluted seawater (14) while introducing the acid desulfurization seawater (13), and a sub-flow passage 20B which bypasses from an upstream side of the upstream mixing unit (22A) of the oxidation/aeration basin (16), and supplies the diluted seawater (14) that post-dilutes the acid desulfurization seawater (13) oxidized and aerated in the oxidation/aeration basin (16).
