Abstract

The present invention is to provide a disposable pant-type wearing article (10) which is easily taken off. Respective opposite side edge portions (24, 26) of sheets defining front (21) and rear (22) waist regions of the wearing article, for example, a disposable pant-type diaper, are welded to each other at joint-spots (30). Each of the sheets includes at least two nonwoven fabrics at least one of which has a tensile strength is lower in a vertical direction than in a lateral direction. The joint-spot (30) has a dimension in the vertical direction (A) of 1.5 mm or less and a dimension in the lateral direction (B) of 3 mm or less wherein an inner end portion (33) of the joint-spot extends in the vertical direction so that a plurality of the joint-spots may form a column (40) in contact with an imaginary straight line (35) and simultaneously define a lateral seam (25).
