Abstract
A cross connection uniform description method based on a nested pipeline, comprising the steps of: S1, making a list of logical pipeline level numbers, and defining level numbering corresponding to pipeline particles; S2, respectively determining a package mapping path and the total package mapping levels between a client-side pipeline and a backpanel side bearer channel pipeline according to the signal type on the client side and the signal type of the bearer channel on the backpanel side respectively; S3, determining the package attribute description of the pipeline on each stage of the package mapping path; S4, forming a multi-stage signal pipeline package mapping description; and S5, employing the branch-side signal multi-stage pipeline package mapping description as a source signal, and employing the line-side signal multi-stage pipeline package mapping description as a destination signal, to form the cross connection uniform description based on the nested pipeline in a network element, thus avoiding the generation of bandwidth fragments, while achieving dynamic multi-stage SDH/PTN/OTN cross connection uniform signal description, and thus facilitating user understanding and operation.
