Abstract

The present invention provides a microwave assisted flash pyrolysis system (1) to carry out microwave assisted flash pyrolysis in an industrial scale. The microwave assisted flash pyrolysis system (1) comprises at least one microwave generator (191); a chamber (16) comprises: at least one feedstock inlet (14), at least one baffle plate (12), a microwave-transparent rotating window (11), and at least one microwave inlet (15), at least one wet gas outlet (192), and at least one dry end product outlet (193). The present invention also provides a method using the same system to carry out microwave assisted flash pyrolysis.
