Provided is a method in which, among byproducts including empty fruit bunches, palm press (fruit) fiber residues and an effluent that are produced as byproducts when extracting crude palm oil from the fruit bunches of oil palm, at least the effluent and the palm press fiber residues are mixed and dried, thereby to produce an edible product, and the method is provided with a residual oil extracting step (1) in which byproducts composed mainly of empty fruit bunches are compressed to extract residual oil of crude palm oil, a concentrating step (2) in which an effluent is concentrated, a mixing step (3) in which the concentrate, the palm press fiber residues and the residual oil are mixed to form a mixture and a drying step (4) in which the mixture generated in the mixing step is dried.
