Abstract
The present invention discloses a method for use in treating liquidized food waste. The method separating said food waste into solid and liquid portions, introducing the separated liquidized food waste into a reaction tank (11) with an organic loading rate (OLR) of at least 2.0 g-COD/L.d and temperature of at least 30?C, and performing anaerobic treatment to said liquidized food waste in said reaction tank (11) for obtaining maximum bioprocesses efficiency.
