Abstract
A surface-treating agent for metallic materials which comprises a polymer (P) having in the molecule a polymerization unit from isobornyl (meth)acrylate (A), and having a glass transition temperature of O to 70?C, an emulsifier and water, and in which treating agent, polymer (P) is dispersed by the emulsifier. The treating agent is excelJent in storage stability, and can form coating excelJent in ultraviolet ray deterioration resistance, alkali resistance, acid resistance, workability and coating transparency.
