Abstract
A hydraulic submersible pump includes a power unit (100) located at ground level coupled to a delivery unit (200) submersible in water. The power unit is operated by a hydraulic system for selectively communicating pressurized hydraulic fluid to the delivery unit. The delivery unit includes a hydraulic motor (206) which drives a shaft (216) which in turn drives an impeller (222) within a chamber (204) to draw water through an inlet port (218) and exit water through an outlet port (220) provided thereto.
