Abstract

A disposable diaper (1) having a longitudinal direction and a width direction intersecting the longitudinal direction, the disposable diaper including: a central strip region (12) including an absorbent body (21) that absorbs liquid; side flaps (14) positioned in both side portions in the width direction of the central strip region (12); and a strip-shaped leg surrounding elastic sheet that is provided to the side flap ( 14) and stretches along the longitudinal direction, an end edge portion in an outer side in the width direction of the side flap (14) having a wave form part in which a projected portion (143a, 145a, 147a) projected to the outer side in the width direction and a depressed portion (143b, 145b, 147b) depressed to the outer side in the width direction are repeated alternately in the longitudinal direction, and the leg surrounding elastic sheet being arranged to the inner side in the width direction than the depressed portion of the side flap.
