Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A METHOD FOR GENERATING MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVE VIEWS AND PROVIDING MULTIPLE PAN-TILT-ZOOM TRACKING BASED ON AN IMAGE CAPTURED HAVING AT LEAST ONE OBJECT OF INTEREST AS INPUT, USING A SINGLE CAMERA COMPRISING: AN INITIALIZATION ROUTINE 300 GENERALLY INCLUDES; GENERATING 360? LOOKUP TABLES; GENERATING PERSPECTIVE VIEW LOOKUP TABLE AND PERSPECTIVE VIEW AND GENERATING SIMPLIFIED 360? FLOOR PLAN BASED ON THE INPUT; A PROCESSING ROUTINE 310 GENERALLY INCLUDES PERFORMING OBJECT TRACKING AND OBJECT PAN-TILT-ZOOM (PTZ) TRACKING; SELECTIVELY UPDATING 360? CORRECTED VIEW AND UPDATING THE PERSPECTIVE VIEW; AND A DISPLAY ROUTINE 320 THE OUTPUT IMAGE OBTAINED UPON PROCESSED BY THE FIRST TWO ROUTINES 300, 310 IS WIDER AND LESS BLOCKED THAN THAT OF THE INPUT IMAGE. A SYSTEM THEREOF IS ALSO PROVIDED. DRAWING: FIGURE 3
