Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO COMPOSTING OF SPENT BLEACHING EARTH (SBE) FROM PALM OIL REFINING WASTES AND OTHER OIL PALM BIOMASSES AND AGRICULTURAL BY-PRODUCTS INTO BIO ORGANIC MATERIAL; I.E. ENHANCED SPENT BLEACHING EARTH (ESBE). THE COMPOSTING PROCESS CAN BE CONDUCTED WITH ACTIVE MICROBIAL ACTIVITY IN AN OPEN OR CLOSED SYSTEM. THE PRODUCED BIO ORGANIC MATERIAL CAN BE USED AS BIO ORGANIC FERTILIZERS, BIOFERTILISERS, SOIL CONDITIONER AND ANIMAL FEED.
