Abstract
The invention relates to a method for optimizing the monitoring and dissemination of link quality information in an overlay network comprising a plurality of nodes Ni, Nj, of which a number of nodes are server meeting nodes Rs, at least one client node A and at least one client node B, in which each client node “monitors” the links that it has with the nodes of the network by using a number of frequency values, the list of the links to be monitored at a given frequency value being established by the server meeting nodes. (Figure 1)
