THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A TOOTHBRUSH FROM WHICH IT IS UNLIKELY THAT THE FINGERS WILL SLIP, EVEN IF THE HANDLE SECTION IS THICKENED, AND WHICH PROVIDES AN EXCELLENT SENSATION UPON CONTACT. THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A TOOTHBRUSH PROVIDED WITH A HANDLE BODY, WHICH INCLUDES A HEAD SECTION AND A HANDLE SECTION THAT EXTENDS TO THE HEAD SECTION, AND BRISTLE BUNDLES IMPLANTED IN A BRISTLE IMPLANTATION SURFACE OF THE HEAD SECTION, THE HANDLE BODY INCLUDING A MAIN BODY COMPOSED OF A HARD RESIN, AND A COVERING BODY WHICH COVERS AT LEAST A PORTION OF THE MAIN BODY AND IS COMPOSED OF A SOFT RESIN, WHEREIN TWO OR MORE GROOVES EXTENDING ACROSS THE WIDTH DIRECTION OF THE HANDLE BODY ARE FORINED IN THE MAIN BODY, THE SPACE BETWEEN AN ARBITRARY GROOVE AND ANY OTHER ARBITRARY GROOVE CONSTITUTES AN INTERMEDIATE SECTION, AND THE COVERING BODY COVERS THE INTERMEDIATE SECTION, THE ARBITRARY GROOVE AND THE OTHER ARBITRARY GROOVE.
