Abstract

An absorbent main body (10) includes an absorbent core (11c) having a liquid absorbent material, a skin side sheet (15) provided to cover the absorbent core (11c) from a skin side in the thickness direction, and a non-skin side sheet (15) provided to cover the absorbent core from the non-skin side in the thickness direction. The non-skin side sheet (15) includes a color differentiated area (Ac) of a color different from the absorbent core (11c). The color differentiated area (Ac) includes a part (Aca) extending out of the absorbent core (11c) in the lengthwise direction or the lateral direction on a side of the one end portion in the lengthwise direction, and a part (Acb) extending out of the absorbent core (11c) in the lengthwise direction or the lateral direction on a side of the other end portion in the lengthwise direction. When the absorbent main body (10) is seen from the skin side in the thickness direction, the part (Aca, Acb), extending out of the absorbent core (11c), in the color differentiated area (Ac) being visually recognizable through the skin side sheet (13), and the part (Aca), extending out of the absorbent core, in the one end portion side and the part (Acb), extending out of the absorbent core, in the other end portion side, in the color differentiated area (Ac) being different in shape from each other.
