AN AIR CONDITIONER INCLUDES A FRONT PORTION AND A TOP PORTION BOTH FORMING A SHELL OF A MAIN BODY (2) OF AN INDOOR UNIT, A FAN (8) DISPOSED WITHIN THE MAIN BODY (2), A HEAT EXCHANGER DISPOSED UPSTREAM OF THE FAN (8), A FILTER (16) DISPOSED UPSTREAM OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER, A DISCHARGE OPENING FOR BLOWING OUT AIR, AN ELECTRONIC UNIT (1), AND A CORNER PORTION DELIMITED BY THE FRONT PORTION, THE TOP PORTION AND THE FILTER (16). THE ELECTRONIC UNIT (1) IS DISPOSED IN THE CORNER PORTION, THEREBY MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO ALLOW A WIND PASS BETWEEN THE ELECTRONIC UNIT (1) AND THE HEAT EXCHANGER TO PREVENT DEW CONDENSATION AND, INCREASE THE WIDTH OF THE DISCHARGE OPENING (10). ACCORDINGLY, THE RELIABILITY AND THE HORIZONTAL WIND DIRECTION CHANGING CAPABILITY CAN BE ENHANCED.
