Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION IS TO SYNTHESIS CaO FROM WASTE COCKLE SHELL AS POTENTIAL MATERIAL FOR CO2 ADSORBENT. MATERIAL CHARACTERIZATION OF XRF, EDX, AND XRD SHOW THAT COCKLE SHELL IS RICH WITH CaCO3 (~97-99% PURITY) AND IT ALSO INDICATES CaO AS MAJOR COMPOUND IN THE SAMPLE AFTER CALCINATION IS CONDUCTED.
