Abstract
The proposed invention as disclosed herein depicts a system and apparatus for wastewater treatment. The system comprises a tank (100) containing wastewater and DIPA, a phtocatalyst (110), a source of visible light (120), a batch photoreactor (140) and a tank containing treated water (150). Typically, in the system for wastewater treatment, a stream of wastewater containing DIPA flows from the tank (100) to the batch photoreactor (140), wherein it is exposed to the photocatalyst (110) in absence of light.
