Abstract

The present invention relates to a wireless access point. The access point comprises of a backhaul module (110), an access module (120), and a system for controlling connection of the client devices. The system allows the wireless access point to limit the number of client devices connecting to it whenever the wireless access point has low available resources or overflow of transmission queue. The system includes at least one queue overflow measurement module (130), a resource measurement module (140), a controller module (150), and an access list storage module (160).
