Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES AN AD-HOC SCREEN SHARING SYSTEM (100) AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING AD-HOC SCREEN SHARING AND SWITCHING SESSIONS OVER A WIRED OR WIRELESS AD-HOC NETWORKS (200) WITHOUT A DEDICATED CENTRALIZED SERVER. THE AD-HOC SCREEN SHARING SYSTEM AND METHOD (100, 200) ALLOWS THE HOST OF THE SESSIONS TO INVITE PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN IN THE SESSION, SHARE MATERIALS TO BE USED DURING THE SESSIONS, PRESENTING THE INFORMATION THROUGH THE SHARED SCREENS, AND ALLOWING THE PARTICIPANTS TO INTERACT BY SHARING THEIR OWN SCREEN.
