A CRAWLER TYPE TRAVELING DEVICE COMPRISES THE FOLLOWINGS: A FRAME SUPPORTING UNIT (8) FIXED TO A VEHICLE BODY (1A) OF A TRAVELING VEHICLE; A ROCKING FRAME (9) CONNECTED TO THE FRAME SUPPORTING UNIT TO BE ROCKED AROUND A ROCKING AXLE (27); A FRONT IDLER (10) AND A REAR IDLER (11) CONNECTED TO THE ROCKING FRAME; MULTIPLE ROTATING WHEELS (12) INSTALLED BETWEEN THE FRONT AND THE REAR IDLER, AND CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE BODY VIA A VEHICLE AXLE (5); AND A CRAWLER BELT (14) WINDING THE DRIVING WHEEL WITH THE VEHICLE AXLE. A FRONT AND REAR CONNECTING UNIT (28, 29) AND A MAIN FRAME (26) HAVE AN OPENING OPENED TO A LEFT AND RIGHT DIRECTION BETWEEN THE FRONT AND THE REAR CONNECTING UNIT (28, 29) AND THE MAIN FRAME (26).
