THE HAIR DRYER (I00, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600,700, 900, 950, 980) HAS A PCB BOARD HAVING PROGRAMMABLE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT (IC) COMPONENTS MOUNTED THEREON, WHEREIN THE FAN (I08) AND THE HEATER ( 106) ARE ALSO CONNECTED TO THE PCB BOARD; A PLURALITY OF PRESETS DEFINING OPERATING LEVELS OF THE FAN (I 08) AND THE HEATER (I 06). ALONE OR IN ANY COMBINATIONS; A MULTI-MODE SWITCH (I02, 202, 302, 402, 502,602, 702, 802) CONNECTED TO THE PCB BOARD FOR CONTROLLING THE PLURALITY OF PRESETS, THE MULTI­MODE SWITCH (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702, 802) IS POSITIONED AT AN ONE-HAND OPERABLE LOCATION ON THE HAIR DRYER ( 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 900, 950, 980), WHEREIN USER IS ABLE TO OPERATE THE HAIR DRYER (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 900, 950, 980) WITH ONLY A HAND HOLDING HAIR DRYER AND CONTROLLING THE PLURALITY OF PRESETS THROUGH THE MULTI-MODE SWITCH (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702, 802).
