THE ABSORBENT MAIN BODY 1A HAS A LIQUID RETENTIVE ABSORBENT MEMBER 4, A LIQUID PERMEABLE SKIN-FACING SHEET 2 COVERING THE SURFACE SIDE OF THE ABSORBENT MEMBER 4, AND AN UNDERGARMENT-FACING SHEET 3 COVERING THE BACK SIDE OF THE ABSORBENT MEMBER 4. EACH OF THE WINGS 5 IS FIXED TO THE SKIN-FACING SHEET 2 BY A SKIN SIDE JOINT 6 AND TO THE UNDERGARMENT-FACING SHEET 3 BY AN UNDERGARMENT SIDE JOINT 7. THE WIDTH W1 OF THE SKIN SIDE JOINT IS SMALLER THAN THE WIDTH W2 OF THE UNDERGARMENT SIDE JOINT 7, AND THE OUTERMOST END OF THE SKIN SIDE JOINT 6 IS OUTER THAN THAT OF THE UNDERGARMENT SIDE JOINT 7.FIG.2
