IN WIRELESS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS,MOBILE TERMINALS THAT NEED TO USE SYSTEM RESOURCES OFFERED BY VARIOUS SERVICE PROVIDERS MUST FIRST KNOW WHAT THE RADIO CHANNEL ALLOCATIONS FOR EACH OF THE SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE. THESE RADIO CHANNELS MAY BE ALLOCATED CONTINUOUSLY FOR EACH SERVICE PROVIDER OR DISCONTINUOUSLY.SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH RADIO CHANNEL FREQUENCY GROUPS WHEN THESE CHANNEL FREQUENCY GROUPS ARE ALLOCATED DISCONTINUOUSLY.
