Abstract

A SOCKET DEVICE FOR A PLUG WITH PLURAL PLUG BLADES IS PROVIDED, WHICH HAS THE CAPABILITY OF MATCHING AN APPEARANCE OF THE SOCKET DEVICE WITH A VARIETY OF ORNAMENTAL PURPOSES WITHOUT COSTLY REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS OF THE SOCKET DEVICE. THE SOCKET DEVICE COMPRISES A CASE (20), SOCKET COVER (30) SECURED TO THE CASE, AND A COSMETIC COVER (40) DETACHABLY FITTED TO THE SOCKET COVER. THE SOCKET COVER HAS BLADE APERTURES (35A, 35B,35C) AT ITS FRONT SURFACE, TO WHICH THE PLUG BLADES CAN BE INSERTED. TERMINAL MEMBERS (6) CONNECTED TO ELECTRIC WIRES EXTENDING FROM A POWER SOURCE ARE HOUSED IN THE CASE. BLADE RECEIVING MEMBERS (5A, 5B, 5C) FOR RECEIVING THE PLUG BLADES INSERTED THROUGH THE BLADE APERTURES ARE ALSO HOUSED IN THE CASE. THE COSMETIC COVER HAS AN OPENING (43), THROUGH WHICH THE BLADE APERTURES OF THE SOCKET COVER ARE EXPOSED.(FIG 1)
