APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FILLING AT LEAST A PAIR OF DRUMS SUBSTANTIALLY SIMULTANEOUSLY WHILST MINIMISING THE MANUAL HANDLING OF THE DRUMS . THE APPARATUS INCLUDES AN INLET PORT (14), AT LEAST TWO OUTLET PORTS (16A, L6B) AND DIVISION MEANS (12) FOR SUBSTANTIALLY DIVIDING A STREAM OF PELLETS ENTERING THE HOPPER (2) VIA THE INLET PORT (14) AND DIRECT A STREAM OF PELLETS TOWARDS EACH OUTLET PORT (LEA, 16B).
