IN AN AIR CONDITIONER, IT IS AN OBJECT TO IMPROVE CLEANING OPERATION PERFORMANCE OF AN AIR FILTER ARRANGED ON AN INNER SIDE OF A FRONT PANEL (41), IMPROVING AN OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF THE FRONT PANEL (41) AND FABRICATING THE AIR CONDITIONER INEXPENSIVELY. THERE IS PROVIDED AN AIR CONDITIONER HAVING A FRONT PANEL (41) FORMING A FRONT FACE PORTION OF AN ABLONG CABINET (2) AND AN AIR FILTER ARRANGED DETACHABLY ON AN INNER SIDE OF THE FRONT PANEL (41). THE FRONT PANEL IS DIVIDED LEFTWARD AND RIGHTWARD, AND SIDE END PORTIONS THEREOF ARE SUPPORTED PIVOTABLY IN A HORIZONTAL DIRECTION AND DETACHABLY.(FIGURE 6)
