Abstract
A PLURALITY OF CIRCUMFERENTIAL RIBS (4) ARE FORMED ON THE NEGATIVE PRESSURE SURFACE OF EACH OF FAN BLADES (7) OF A PROPELLER FAN (1) AND PROJECTED IN A DIRECTION FROM THE POSITIVE PRRESSURE SIDE TO THE NEGATIVE PRESSURE SIDE OF THE PROPELLER FAN (1), AND A PLURALITY OF RADIAL RIBS (5) WHICH ARE FORMED ON THE NEGATIVE PRRESSURE SURFACE (19) OF EACH OF THE FAN BLADES (7), AND PROJECTED IN A DIRECTION FROM THE POSITIVE PRESSURE TO THE NEGATIVE PRESSURE SIDE OF THE PROPELLER FAN (1), THEREBY THE FAN BLADES (7) CAN BE THIN SO AS TO REDUCE THE QUANTITY OF A MATERIAL TO BE USED, AND CAN REDUCE INFLUENCE CAUSED BY THE RIBS (4,5) UPON THE STREAMS OF THE AIR SO AS TO RESTRAIN GENERATION OF NOISE WHILE IT IS POSSIBLE TO AIM AT ENHANCING THE RIGIDITY IN THE AXIAL AND RADIAL DIRECTIONS OF THE FAN (1), AND THEREBY IT IS POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE A THIN AND NOISELESS PROPELLER FAN (1) EVEN HAVING A LARGE DIAMETER SO AS TO ENHANCE THE MOLDABILITY, AND TO SHORTEN THE MOLDING TIME WHILE REDUCING THE QUANTITY OF THE MATERIAL TO BE USED SO AS TO REDUCE THE MANUFACTURING COST.(FIGURE 11)
