Abstract

THE INVENTION CONCERNS A MAGNETIC POSITION SENSOR WHEREBY AT LEAST TWO STATOR ELEMENTS ARE ARRANGED WITHIN A MAGNETIC FIELD, WHEREBY A MAGNETIC-FIELD PROBE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE AIR-GAP BETWEEN THE STATOR ELEMENTS, WHEREBY A MEANS FOLLOWING THE MOVEMENT OF AN OBJECT IS ARRANGED PARALLEL TO THE PLANE SET UP BY THE STATOR ELEMENTS.FOR A POSITION SENSOR NOT DEPENDENT ON AXIAL PLAY, THE MEANS CONNECTED TO THE MOVABLE OBJECTS IS DESIGNED IN TWO PARTS, WHEREBY EACH SOFT-MAGNETIC PART (4A, 4B) IS PROVIDED WITH AT LEAST ONE SEGMENT AND THE SOFT-MAGNETIC ELEMENTS ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE RIGIDLY STAGGERED AGAINST EACH OTHER, SO THAT THE SEGMENT OF THE FIRST ELEMENT (4A) IS POSITIONED OPPOSITE A SEGMENT GAP OF THE SECOND ELEMENT (4B), WHEREBY THE STATOR ELEMENTS (2A, 2B) ARE ARRANGED BETWEEN THE SOFT-MAGNETIC ELEMENTS (4A, 4B) AND A MAGNET (3) GENERATING THE MAGNETIC FIELD VERTICAL TO THE PLANE SET UP BY THE STATOR ELEMENTS (2A, 2B) IS ARRANGED BETWEEN THE STATOR ELEMENTS (2A, 2B) AS WELL AS THE SOFT-MAGNETIC ELEMENTS (4A, 4B).(FIG. 1)
